The beast inside

time_for_lynnLook inside of the child's head, and you will see that she is not a child at all.
A beast is contained in her mind and soul, tormented in flames for an eternity. It struggles to be free of chains that are forever burning into its flesh, it growls and roars, begging to be released.
She holds it back, but sometimes the darkness slips. The seemingly cheerful child will act or speak according to what the beast wants and that never ends well. If she can overcome it, the rewards are great and her days will be lived out in peace. If it overcomes her, she will become the beast within and there will be suffering and pain, torment and anguish. Many will sleep among you and many will die.
